Are Dental Implants an Option for you?

Dental Implants are a safe and reliable option for replacing missing teeth. If you are considering Dental Implants, it is important to schedule an evaluation.

Dr. Tan Khuu, highly trained in Dental Implants, will review your medical and dental history to make sure that implants are the right and safe option for you.

HOW IT WORKS.

It Starts with Diagnostics

cbct

Our in-house state-of-the-art cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a special type of x-ray equipment that is used to assess potential sites in the jaw for implants.

This form of 3D Imaging is necessary for proper diagnosis and implant treatment planning.

3D Visualization

A 3D view of the jaw is generated by advanced imaging to survey the distance between the alveolar crest and mandibular canal to avoid impingement of the inferior alveolar nerve, avoid perforation of the mandibular posterior lingual undercut, assess the density and quality of bone, as well as help in the planning of the implant placement in the maxilla with special attention to the nasopalatine canal and maxillary sinus.

Proper treatment planning under a highly trained doctor reduces the risk of injury and improves patient outcomes.

Virtual Planning

Treatment is carefully and digitally planned before surgery to help reduce the risk of complications and increase the likelihood of a smooth recovery.

On the day of surgery, implants will be placed in the appropriate location, angle, and depth based on planning.

Once the implant has integrated into the jawbone, the healing time may take anywhere between 3-8 months depending on the location of placement, as well as other individual patient factors, and may be restored with a crown or bridge.
